Important to note

Sprii cannot react to a Facebook event discussion feed, so don't attempt to activate live reminder signups here. Make sure you only post live reminder campaigns outside of your events and on your page. 


With a video post

Creating a short video doesn't have to be complicated or time-consuming. Simply grab your phone and film a quick 10-second video where you mention the important details:

  • Date and time for the live event.
  • Instructions on how to sign up for the live reminder.

How to do it

The video post must be connected to Sprii to be able to collect sign up for your Live reminder. This can be done in two ways.

  • Create the video post campaign with all content in the Sprii platform and post it from here. (Ignore products)
  • Create the video post on social media and connect it to any type of campaign in Sprii after it has been published.

With a prerecorded live

Sprii offers a built-in feature that allows you to prerecord a video and schedule it to go "live" at a specific time. This means that for your followers, it will appear as if you are live in the moment. The duration of the "live" video doesn't have to be long, but it's important to mention the date and time of the actual live event. During the prerecorded video, make sure to promote the invitation request word and the live reminder service. 

 

Timing

Before the event
It's recommended to create a live reminder post three days before your live event. This provides an opportunity to promote both the event and the live reminder in a single piece of content.

During the event
During your live event, it's crucial to actively promote the live reminder. This is the perfect opportunity to engage with a large audience, many of whom may be interested in joining your future lives. Therefore, it's highly important to inform viewers about the 'invitation request word' while you are live. After the event
After your live event is over, you have the opportunity to invite all those who made a reservation to your live reminder list, so they'll be notified the next time you go live. These are customers who have already shown interest in you, and many of them would love to receive a notification when you go live again, so this is a great opportunity. 

When the live event is done, you will receive a notification in the top right corner of Sprii, where you can confirm that you would like to invite people from the reservation list to your live reminder list. Don't worry - it won't be sent to people who already replied yes or no in the past.

Spice up your live reminder campaigns

Competitions 

If you want to make signing up for the live reminder more attractive for your customers, you can consider adding a competition to it. This way, you can offer additional benefits to your audience and make the live reminder more appealing.

Here's an example of what to write or say when connecting a competition to your live reminder:

"Comment with *the invitation request word* to enter for a chance to win a prize. A winner will be selected randomly from the comments and announced first during the event."

Tip:
