In your page settings, locate the "product attributes" tab to enable the missing attribute feature.
How does it work?
This feature prompts customers to select their preferred product variant when placing an order, even if they forget to specify details like color, size, or other options.
Let's illustrate with an example.
In the image below we have a product added to a Sprii campaign with 3 variants (sizes):
S, M & L.
For a customer to buy this, they should comment "shop 100" followed by their size, e.g., "shop 100 L".
Normally the system would then disregard the comment, but by enabling the missing attributes feature, Sprii can now follow up with customers via private messages to inquire about their preferred size, even if they forget to specify it when placing an order. This ensures that all orders are captured accurately and helps enhance the overall shopping experience for users.
Important to note
The feature is limited to 13 variants. If you have a product with more variants than that the customer will be able to pick from the first 13 options.
Once they've picked the correct size in their private messages, they will immediately get a link to checkout and can complete their order as normal. See the process in the video below.
The feature is very useful for products where the variants are long or difficult to write!
