Important to note
This guide is only relevant if you have our onsite solution. Don't hesitate to reach out if you want to hear more about the possibilities for an onsite solution for your website.
Step 1 - Set up a live campaign
The first step is to start creating a normal live shopping campaign in Sprii. If you need to read more about how to create a normal live campaign you can click the link HERE to be redirected to our guide on campaign setup.
Please add your timing, products, and any competitions as normal and as described in the guide linked above, and then move on to step 2.
Step 2 - Create an onsite campaign
Once you have reached the segment "channels" under the campaign setup, it's time to set up and customize your onsite event by following these steps:
- Navigate to Channels.
- Click Create Event.
- Enter a Campaign Name.
- Provide a Campaign Description.
- Upload a Campaign Photo (Choose between portrait and horizontal layout).
Below you can see an example of what a portrait cover photo (left) looks like vs. a horizontal one (right):
Configure additional settings
On the right-hand side of your screen, you will find extra settings to fine-tune your campaign:
- Shortened Name: Customize the campaign name for the floating widget.
- Onsite Viewer Country: Define a campaign by country for certain onsite integrations.
- Onsite Tags: Add tags for better organization if managing multiple galleries.
- Pinned Message: Set a pinned message in the live chat.
- Instagram Pinned Message: Pin a message specifically for Instagram chat.
- Use E-commerce Cart in Player: Choose whether customers should be directed to the product page or checkout.
- Link to Product When Campaign is Expired: If enabled, the campaign will link to the product after the deadline.
Step 3 - Publish your campaign
Once your campaign setup is complete, it’s time to publish it to your website with one simple step:
Click Publish, and the event will be visible on your website.
Your event should now appear as an upcoming show on your live shopping landing page.
Step 4 - Go live
The setup is done and you’re ready to broadcast, simply start your stream as you normally would. Sprii will automatically stream your event to your website and any additional chosen platforms.
Test your setup
Want to test your setup before going live? Simply place the script and gallery on a hidden page on your website. Then, in the campaign streaming tab, select “Broadcast to onsite only.” This way, your stream will only be visible on this landing page, allowing you to test as much as needed before
