Set up the Stripe payment integration

Connect Stripe to Sprii Checkout for the selected Page.

Stripe accepts payments in this Page's Sprii Checkout and captures them automatically. Stripe handles payouts and settlement. The keys you use determine whether checkout uses Stripe's test environment or live payments.

Before you start

You need administrator access to the Sprii Page and access to the intended Stripe account's API keys. Check Page settings > Localization > Billing Currency before selling; Stripe uses this Page currency.

Open Stripe in Sprii

  1. Select the intended Sprii Page. Open Page settings Page settings in the main menu > Sprii checkout > Payment methods Payment methods tab under Page settings > Sprii checkout
  2. On the Stripe card, click Configure.

  3. Click Activate payment Activate payment button
  4. Enter the shopper-facing Title.

Add the matching Stripe keys

  1. Open the API keys page in your Stripe Dashboard. Select the intended account and environment: live keys for real payments, or test keys for the test environment. Both keys must come from the same account and environment.
  2. Copy the Stripe Secret key and paste it into Sprii's Private key field. For an available live secret, use Reveal live key. If your secret can no longer be revealed or you need to create one, follow Stripe's key instructions before continuing.
  3. Copy the Stripe Publishable key from that same account and environment and paste it into Sprii's Public key field.

  4. Click Save Save button in Sprii.

The Stripe configuration is saved for this Page. Saving credentials does not confirm a successful payment.

Keep in mind

  • This is a Page payment setting. When updating an existing setup, check the payment methods intended for campaigns already on that Page.
  • Do not mix test and live keys. Sprii has no separate Stripe test switch; live keys enable real payments. Keep the secret key private.
  • Eligible refunds can be started manually in Sprii after any order adjustment. They require a successful payment, a positive refundable amount and an account with access to the order. See Refund an order.
  • A refund performed only in Stripe is not automatically reflected in Sprii. Check both records if they disagree.
