Set up the Shopware 6 integration
Connect your Shopware 6 store to Sprii: add products by SKU, run your live show, and let shoppers check out in your Shopware checkout or in Sprii. Paid orders flow back, so order status, the waitlist and abandoned-cart reminders all work, and you can set live-only prices.
Before you start
You need the Sprii Shopware plugin installed on your store. We recommend your Shopware developer installs and activates it, and confirms it activates cleanly on your version of Shopware.
Keep the plugin up to date: always install the latest version, because an out-of-date plugin can stop the integration working after a Shopware update.
Products must be active on your webshop to be added to a campaign and to check out.
If your products have different prices per variant, contact Sprii support to enable variant pricing before your first show.
A Sprii page connects to one webshop at a time. If you are moving from another platform to Shopware, connect Shopware once your new store is live.
Step 1: Install the Sprii plugin on your Shopware store
Download the Sprii "Live Shopping Integration" plugin from the link Sprii provides, then install and activate it in your Shopware admin under Extensions > My extensions.
If you see an activation error, you are most likely on an older plugin version for your Shopware core. Get the latest plugin release and try again, or contact support.
Step 2: Get your Storefront API access key
In your Shopware admin, open Sales Channels and select the sales channel you sell from. Under API access, copy the API access key (the storefront access key). You will paste this into Sprii in the next step. If your setup requires it, also note an admin username and password; most stores do not need this.
Step 3: Connect Shopware in Sprii
In Sprii, open your integration settings and choose Shopware. Enter the Site URL (your Shopware store address) and the Storefront API Key from Step 2, add the admin username and password only if your setup uses them, choose the Checkout type (Shop Checkout or Sprii Checkout), and set the No variants option if you want each variant treated as its own product. Then run the connection test; a successful test confirms Sprii can reach your store.
Step 4: Add products to a campaign
Add products to a campaign by their SKU, one at a time or in bulk from an Excel list. There is no separate product catalogue to browse: you pick products straight into the campaign.
Your products and their stock refresh automatically about every 30 minutes. If you have just changed a price or stock and want it in Sprii straight away, use the Sync active products button.
Checkout options
You choose how shoppers pay with the Checkout type setting. With Shop Checkout (the default), Sprii builds the basket and sends the shopper to your Shopware checkout to pay, so your store owns payment, shipping and the order. With Sprii Checkout, the shopper pays inside Sprii's own checkout; use this when you want Sprii to handle the full purchase.
Note on discount codes: when a shopper reaches your Shopware checkout through a Sprii basket, they cannot add a Shopware discount or voucher code there. For live-only offers, set a live price on the product instead of using a code.
Live prices and variants
You can set a live-only price on a product for a show, applied to the basket the shopper checks out with. There is no automatic strike-through "before" price. If a product has different prices per variant, contact Sprii support to enable variant pricing before your show.
Stock and availability
During a show, Sprii shows availability as your synced stock minus the units shoppers are holding in their baskets. Because stock syncs about every 30 minutes, the number in the show can differ a little from your shop at any moment. Sprii does not change the stock count in your Shopware store; your shop keeps selling and counting as normal.
Transaction fees
If your plan includes a transaction fee, it is calculated on the revenue you make through Sprii and it is capped: the fee is never charged on more than the value the shopper reserved in the show. If the shopper pays for fewer items than they reserved, the fee follows the lower amount they actually paid. Shipping paid in your Shopware checkout is not part of the fee. Sales made on your own website (the on-site player and shoppable videos) do not carry a transaction fee; the fee applies to social-media sales only. Exact rates are set in your agreement with Sprii.
FAQ
Do my paid orders show in Sprii? Yes. When an order is paid in your Shopware store it is reported back to Sprii almost immediately and marked as completed, and the items the shopper did not buy are released back to the waitlist.
Does the waitlist refill if a shopper does not finish, or buys fewer items? Yes. If a basket is never paid, the whole reservation is released. If a shopper completes but buys fewer items than reserved, the leftover items are released. In both cases the freed stock reopens to the waitlist or to other shoppers.
How quickly do product and price changes appear? Within about 30 minutes, or straight away if you use the Sync active products button.
Can I sell shoppable videos with add-to-cart on my website? On Shopware, on-site videos use product links rather than an in-page basket, so each product opens to check out. Add-to-cart basket sync on your own site is not available on Shopware today.
Can I connect Shopware and another platform at the same time? Not on the same Sprii page. If you are switching platforms, connect Shopware once your new store is live.
