The Control Center live preview is not playing

Find out whether only your browser preview is affected, and what to try when it is.

The preview in Control Center plays in your own browser. It can fail on your computer even when viewers can watch the live show without problems, so first find out which one is affected.

Check the live show first

  1. Check whether viewers can watch the live show on the channel where you broadcast. If the show fails there too, the problem is not the preview. Check your video source and stream setup instead.
  2. In Sprii, go to Campaigns Campaigns in Sprii’s main menu and open the affected campaign. Click the Control Center button Orange Control Center button with play icon in the campaign header.
  3. Check the preview. If the live show works for viewers but the preview is missing or frozen, try the browser steps below.

Fix the preview in your browser

The preview video is normally compressed with HEVC, which not every browser and computer can play. Sprii does not offer the preview in another version, so these steps change your browser instead.

  1. In Chrome, open the menu at the top right and choose Settings > System.
  2. Turn on Use graphics acceleration when available, if the setting is there.
  3. Restart Chrome, then open Control Center again and check the preview.
  4. If the preview still does not play, try another browser or another computer.

Graphics acceleration is worth trying, but it does not fix every case.
