Confirm the issue
The video preview in Sprii Control Centre is a video stream in the HEVC file format.
It’s possible that your browser settings do not support HEVC video playback. To test this, please visit this test site: Here
Here you will find two sample videos. If you can watch them, your browser supports HEVC. If not, you have confirmed that the issue is indeed related to HEVC support in your browser.
Resolve the issue
If you are using Chrome and cannot play the videos, follow these steps to enable HEVC playback:
- Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
- Go to Settings > System.
- Find the Use hardware acceleration when available option and toggle it on.
- Restart Chrome to apply the changes.
Once enabled, Chrome can efficiently play HEVC videos including the video preview in Sprii ControlCenter.
