Products are automatically released when a customers remove them from cart (for Magento users)

Previously, when customers removed products from their cart during the checkout process on your website, these products remained reserved and unavailable for purchase.

However, with this update, these products will automatically be released and made available for purchase once an order has been completed. This means Magento users no longer need to manually remove these items to offer them to people on the waitlist or video-on-demand viewers.

This update takes manual work off your shoulders while enabling you to increase revenue.

Previously, when customers removed products from their cart during the checkout process on your website, these products remained reserved and unavailable for purchase.

However, with this update, these products will automatically be released and made available for purchase once an order has been completed. This means WooCommerce users no longer need to manually remove these items to offer them to people on the waitlist or video-on-demand viewers.

Sprii now accepts misspelled buy codes

May 2024

Shoppers sometimes make spelling mistakes or add emojis when writing buy codes as comments in your live show. Sprii now accepts these misspelled buy codes.

In the past, spelling mistakes and emojis in buy codes could potentially have resulted in the user's comment going unregistered, and the product would not be added to their shopping cart. 

But Sprii just got smarter, and now onwards, common spelling mistakes or missing spaces before emojis will be "passed" as an approved buy code. 

As a result, more products will be added into shopping carts, which means more sales for your business!

Here's an example for the most commonly used Danish buy code "ja tak":

Customize live reminder messages on campaign level

Across all campaign types, you can now customize the live reminder message, allowing you to tailor the message based on the show you're about to host.

Send live reminder messages when publishing image and video posts

For image and video post campaigns, you now have the option to send live reminder messages to your subscribers upon publishing the campaign. The live reminder message can be customized for each specific campaign.

Choose the checkout type on campaign level (for Shopify users)

Within a campaign, Shopify users can now set the checkout type as either "draft order" or "open basket." This is particularly useful if you want to use "draft orders" by default but use the regular basket on your image and video post campaigns.

Create custom prices using the default basket (for Shopify users)

It's now possible for you to offer custom prices during your live shopping event that are not available on your webshop when using the default basket with Shopify. 

Your planned live events are visible in the Host app

You no longer need to create an event within your Sprii campaign to go live with our Host app. All planned live events are now conveniently accessible within the Host app, and when you go live, an event will automatically be created for you.

Updates to the Host app

We released a new update to the Host app. We've ensured much more stability and we fixed the orientation control bug, so both vertical and horizontal views work seamlessly.

Plus, we've added mute controls as well as broadcast end control from the Control Center. Now, an assistant can help the host manage these actions directly from the Control Center, eliminating the need for the host to click the phone screen during the show.

Upgrade to Sprii Checkout

The Sprii Checkout flow is now divided into three steps visualized with a step-by-step progress bar. Payment instructions (if used) are only shown in the last step and highlighted to make it more user-friendly. 

Sold out products can't be added manually to an order

Sold out products can no longer be added manually by users to an order. The product is faded light grey and when you hover over the product, the mouse indicates that you can't click on it.

Bulk messages are sent faster

The speed of sending bulk messages from Sprii has improved significantly. In the Sprii backend, you can see a progress bar that indicates how long it takes for all messages to be sent. 

Notifications can be minimized

Notifications can now be minimized to get access to the menu behind the popup without actuating the notification. Simply click the minimize symbol (–) in the top right corner of the popup.

The Billing page is easier to navigate

We updated the Billing page. Now, it's easier to navigate and do self-service.

Language can be edited at user level

You can now control the language settings in app.sprii.io at user level. For instance, you can set your language to Spanish, but all messages and templates that are customer-facing will still be in the language of the account/page. To change the language at user level, go to user settings in the top right corner in app.sprii.io rather than your page settings. 

You can add snow to your live show

You can position products left or right in the Onsite overlay

You can position your product overlays left or right as you please when hosting your shows on your website. 

New overlay with logo when Onsite live show is paused

You can delete attributes

From your product attributes overview, you can now easily delete attributes by clicking on the trashcan symbol.
