Import your products with a product feed

The product feed brings your webshop's products into Sprii automatically, so you do not add them by hand. You give Sprii a link to your product feed (a Google Shopping feed), and Sprii imports your products and keeps their titles, prices, images and in-stock status up to date from your own shop. Then you just pick the products you want when you build a campaign.

What the product feed is for

If your webshop is not on one of Sprii's dedicated platform integrations (like Shopify or WooCommerce), the product feed is the simplest way to get your products into Sprii. Most webshop platforms can produce a product feed, a file that lists your products with their names, prices, images and links. You point Sprii at that feed, and your catalogue appears in Sprii ready to sell in your live shows and posts.

Once it is set up, you do not maintain anything by hand in Sprii. Change a price or add a product in your shop, and it flows through on the next refresh.

What you need

A product feed in Google Shopping format, available at a web address (URL). Most platforms can generate one, or your developer can. If your feed needs a login, you can add those details too. You also need access to your Page settings in Sprii.

Setting it up

Go to Page settings and open Plugins.

Find Product feed and click Configure.

Set the feed type to Google Shopping.

Paste your feed URL. If your feed needs a login, tick Enable authentication and add the details.

Click Save.

Click Update products to bring your products in. Peek feed shows you a preview first, so you can check it looks right.

Your products are now in Sprii, ready to add to a campaign.

Adding products to a campaign

Your imported products sit in your product library, so you pick from them when you build a campaign. In the campaign's Products step, click Add. You can browse and search your catalogue, or choose Import and paste a product's SKU or tag to pull them straight in. Sprii fills in the title, price, image and link from your feed.

Products that share the same group in your feed come in as one product with size or colour options, so you do not add each variant separately.

Stock and availability

Your feed tells Sprii whether each product is in stock or sold out, and Sprii follows that automatically. Most feeds do not send a quantity, though, so by default your products sell without a set limit on how many can go in one show.

Cap how many you sell in a show

To limit a product to a set number for a campaign, open that product in the campaign, switch its Inventory from your webshop value to Custom, turn off No max and type a number. Sprii will mark it sold out when it reaches that number, and this manual figure is not overwritten when your feed refreshes. It applies to that product on that campaign.

Ongoing stock limits across all your shows

If you want real stock counts to flow through everywhere, add a quantity field to your feed, with one value per product or variant. Tell us what it is called and we will point Sprii at it. After that, sold-out and stock limits follow your shop automatically.

Keeping products up to date

Sprii refreshes the products in your active campaigns about every 15 minutes, so normal changes flow through on their own. If you change something just before a show, for example a price, click Update products in the plugin to pull it in straight away, then check it looks right in your campaign.

Frequently asked questions

What is a product feed?

A file your webshop produces that lists your products with their names, prices, images, links and in-stock status, in the Google Shopping format. Sprii reads it from a web address you provide.

Where do I get my feed URL?

From your webshop platform or your developer. Many platforms have a setting or an app that produces a Google Shopping feed. If you are unsure, contact Sprii and we will help.

How often do my products update?

About every 15 minutes for the products in your active campaigns. For an instant update, click Update products in the plugin.

A price or product looks wrong in Sprii. What do I do?

Change it in your webshop first, then click Update products to refresh. If a product or its variants still look off, check your feed includes an image and a variant group for it.

Can I limit how many of a product I sell?

Yes. For one campaign, set the product's Inventory to Custom and enter a number. For ongoing limits across all your shows, add a quantity field to your feed and we will map it.

I already have a Shopify or WooCommerce integration. Do I need this?

No. Those integrations sync your products to Sprii on their own, so you do not need the product feed as well.
