If you want to show more information on your signs, but don't want to manually write it in every time, you can do it through Shopify metafields. This guide will show you how you create the fields, and how to import it to Sprii afterwards.

Create a new metafield in Shopify
Important to note
The metafield has to be a "Product metafield", as it is the only one we currently import to Sprii.

Create a new metafield in Shopify
To import a metafield, you can either use a preset field in Shopify or create a new field.
There will be a video showcase for it all at the end of this guide.
In order to create a new field, you have to do the following:
- In Shopify, go to Settings in the bottom left corner.
- Click "Metafields and metaobjects" on the left side.
- Under "Metafield definitions", click "Products"
- Add a new definition by clicking "Add definition" in the top right corner.
- Insert a name for your field, so it is easily found later when editing products.
- In "Select type", choose "Single line text".
- Save the definition at the top.
Import the metafield to Sprii
In order to import the metafield to Sprii, do the following:
- Go to "Page settings" on the left side.
- Go to "E-commerce integration"
- Click "Configure" on Shopify.
- At the bottom, tick on "Sync product metafields".
- In "metafield" choose the newly created metafield.
- In "Product field (optional)", choose what Sprii field the metafield should be imported to.
- Save your new edits in bottom right corner.
- Click "Start full product import" on the top left corner.
Now when you add a new product to a campaign, the newly imported data can be seen in the Product information.
