Set up the Lightspeed integration

Connect a supported Lightspeed store and import its products into Sprii.

This setup is for Lightspeed eCom (C-Series) shops using its EU1 API. Confirm that your shop uses the EU1 cluster and that the Lightspeed connection is available on your Sprii Page. Do not enter eCom (E-Series), Retail (X-Series) or C-Series US1 credentials in this connection.

Open the integration

  1. Open Page settings Page settings selected > E-commerce integration E-commerce integration selected
  2. Find Lightspeed and click Configure.

  3. Click Activate webshop Activate webshop button
  4. In your Lightspeed eCom (C-Series) back office, check that your Advanced or Professional plan includes API access. Open Settings > Store Settings > Developers > New API key. Give the key a name and click Save. Enable the key and allow read access to products and write access to orders. Where your key offers write access to products, allow it as well for Sprii's product webhook management. Set these permissions before the first Sprii Save, then click Save in Lightspeed again.
  5. In Lightspeed, use Show to reveal that key's secret. Copy the API key and API secret for the Sprii connection.
  6. Back in Sprii, enter the public HTTPS address of your Lightspeed store in Site Url. Enter an enabled shop language shortcode, such as en, in API Language. This is the language segment of C-Series API requests, not a language name. Paste the matching key and secret into API Key and API Secret.

  7. Click Save Save button to keep the Page's integration settings. If Sprii reports a permission error, check that the key is enabled and has write access to orders, correct the key's permissions in Lightspeed, and save the Sprii form again.
  8. Use Run product sync Run product sync button to start the product import, then review the resulting products in Sprii.

The picture illustrates the four empty settings fields; it does not show a saved connection. A successful product import is confirmed by reviewing the resulting products in Sprii, not by the settings picture or the Save click alone.

Product and order limits

  • Product updates depend on webhooks or a manual sync; there is no scheduled product poll.
  • Completed-order tracking depends on the Lightspeed order webhook.
  • Prices or discounts set only in Sprii are not passed to Lightspeed checkout. Check the checkout price before the show.

New checkout links use current Page connection settings even for campaigns already created; a saved change does not rewrite a link already issued. Product changes arrive through webhooks or Run product sync, rather than the settings save directly rewriting campaign products. Sprii attempts to register its webhooks during the first successful settings save. Later saves do not retry a failed registration, and a saved connection or successful manual sync does not prove webhook updates are working. Do not deactivate the integration to retry setup: deactivation can remove other apps' webhooks from the same Lightspeed shop.
