What are abandoned basket messages?

If someone adds an item to their shopping basket but never finishes the order, it's a good idea to send them a reminder. Maybe he or she just forgot all about it or needs a little push to make the final decision. This reminder is what we call an abandoned basket message.

With Sprii, you can send abandoned basket messages in bulk to all viewers, who left something in their cart. This will mostly likely result in more sales and it only takes two minutes to do.  

How to send out abandoned basket reminders

It's easy to send out abandoned basket reminders. Follow our four short steps below.

Step 1

Go to your campaign in app.sprii.io. Click on Open in the top right corner, then click Orders.

Step 2

Filter for New orders to see all orders that haven't been paid yet.

Step 3

In the top right corner, click Action and then Send message.

Step 4

Write a message to inform your viewers that they left items in their basket. Remember to include a link to checkout. When you're ready, click Send. Just above the message, you can see how many will receive your message.
